I thought I should introduce myself in a proper way, by telling you a little about myself, so you get a little feel for who I am! :-) I am a short-haired saluki boy who is 3 years old.
I love to be outside, I love to run, and I love to meet other dogs (although some of them are a little scary, but it is always so interesting to meet other dogs, I just can't help it, I have to say hello to everybody..!), and I also love just smelling the grass, ground, earth, snow, flowers... wherever there is something interesting to smell!
I also love (certain things) to eat. Not regular food that much, cause I'm not crazy about food like some (most?) other dogs are. I think there are more important things in life than food (like being outside, and other dogs!), but I do love certain treats, like hotdogs (yummy!) and Frolic (my favorite treat) and real meat, of course!! Speaking of eating... (well, not really eating, but using my teeth anyways); I also love to tear up plastic bags and paper!! Any plastic bag, or newspaper, or kitchen towel paper (thin or soft paper is easier to tear up) - Super-fun!! :-)
When I play with other dogs, the most fun way I play, is to tease the other dogs and try to make them run after me. Some of them get so frustrated because they can't catch up to me, that they start barking, and that gets me going even more! I make a turn so I get a little closer to them, but when they think they're about to reach me, I shift gear and speed up and cut them off! I just love to run fast!
When I'm not doing those things above, and I'm just home, I lay down somewhere soft and comfy, and sleep. On the couch, in my chair or maybe in my dogbed (just for variation). And if I can, I sneak up on a bed, cause that's the best place in the world to sleep..! I usually can't get to a bed, though, but the couch is pretty comfy, too!
